Welcome to TorchedUp ("TorchedUp", "we", "us", or "our"), a service operated by Tyzo Studio. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TorchedUp website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read them carefully.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
TorchedUp provides interactive machine-learning coding practice. Users can read problem statements, write and run Python/NumPy/PyTorch code in a browser-based editor, view reference solutions, and track their progress. The Service is intended for educational and personal interview-preparation purposes.
Accounts are created via Google OAuth. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the Service. By signing in, you represent that the information provided through your Google account is accurate and that you are authorized to use it. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
TorchedUp offers paid subscription plans, currently priced at $28 per month or $109 per year (prices subject to change with notice). Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal linked from your profile. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused portions of a billing period; please see our Refund Policy for details on when refunds may be issued.
You agree not to: (a) scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract problem content or solutions in bulk; (b) abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent rate limits on the code-execution sandbox or other GPU/CPU resources; (c) submit code that is malicious, attempts to escape the sandbox, exploits vulnerabilities, or harms other users or our infrastructure; (d) use the Service to violate any applicable law, infringe intellectual property, or harass others; or (e) share, resell, or transfer your account credentials.
All problem statements, reference solutions, test cases, explanations, branding, and other content provided by TorchedUp are the intellectual property of Tyzo Studio or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access this content for your personal, non-commercial use. Code that you write and submit remains your property; by submitting it, you grant us a limited license to store, run, and display it as necessary to operate the Service.
Your code remains yours. You retain ownership of any code you write or submit. By using TorchedUp, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store your code (drafts and submission snapshots) and display it back to you within your account. We will not use your code to train machine learning models, share it publicly, or use it for purposes other than enabling you to access your own work. When you delete your account, all stored code is permanently removed.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that reference solutions are optimal, interview-perfect, or free of errors, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that any particular outcome (such as passing a job interview) will result from using it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TorchedUp, Tyzo Studio, and our officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, abused the Service, or created risk or legal exposure for us. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) will survive.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify users by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
